Make sure your read the conditions of your booking. Only cash and if you get an above ground accommodation don't expect anything better than a shipping container I'm the middle of the desert. Overpriced for the service.
Mike was an excellent host, and the cabins we clean and well kept. It's a quiet little spot and not far from the Coober Pedy town centre.
Beautiful views, peaceful surroundings, fabulous facilities and wonderful hosts couldn't ask for better accommodation
We slept in the underground room as seen advertised. Facilities were clean and comfortable including a gas bbq (above ground under an awning) which we used to cook dinner and have a few drinks. The owner is a real character and wouldn't be out of place in an old western movie, complete with dust covering from working in the mine all day and beer in hand upon arrival. He has a lovely family and we felt welcome. Sleeping underground is fine for temperature it stays cosy.
Michael and his wife are very good hosts. The dugout is so tidy and nice. It is a very nice experience to spend couple of day there. Thank you Michael!
