Great underground apartment, basic, spacious, great tour pick up to the Breakaways which are well worth seeing.
It is a very unique place to stay, no doubt. It has certain character and charm and it's underground. No windows in living areas or bedrooms, meaning, if you are planning a long sleep-in this place is perfect!It's spacious and has almost all the facilities.The view from outside the property is also spectacular!Check in was easy and lady at the front desk was friendly enough. The reason for my 2 stars? The cleanliness! This has to be one of the dirtiest places I have ever stayed in. Yes the town has a dust problem. But it not just the dust. The sheets weren't changed. There were hair on the sheets and pillows. Used tissue on the floor and scrap rubbish everywhere. Floor were dirty. I did not even sit on the sofa and used my own sheets and pillows on the bed.Very poor standards! Would not stay there again.
Fantastic value for money. Full apartment with separate bedrooms, lounge, kit when and bathroom..clean..can't go wrong! Highly recommend it!
Have stayed here before. Very comfortable. Everything available for an extended stay. Well priced. Very friendly staff. Close to town.
The Desert View Apartments are a great experience for styas as long as you like. Rooms are very spacious, more like a house than a room, with ours having 3 bedrooms, a kitchen and a spacious bathroom. The only complaints I have are the shower and microwave are pretty bad. The temperature is constantly around 22-23c. The apartments are within walking distance of many shops and restaurants and the Noble Tours of Coober Pedy are a great experience worth doing.
