Was closed when I was in the area. Caravan park next door, small and was full, caretaker suggested parking by the creek (no water). Excellent camp site, sunsets gorgeous!
Safe, basic with power and water. Value for money for van owners.
Great Campsite. Gary is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Recommend staying here if you are staying in town. Get in early though as no bookings.
The place to stay in Coober pedy, Gary the campground "manager" is an absolute legend with a massive big heart, we felt home straight away. The campground offert basic facilities but enough for travelers ! You can have access to power, shower (solar) and toilet. Prices are way cheaper than everywhere else and give the possibility to meet the real local, like Albert the owner ;)
