My husband and I were in this store three times within the course of 2 days. Each time we were treated with patience and respect. The store is quite lovely and their opal collection is wide enough to fit anyone's wallet. We bought two beautiful opals. We told the owner that we were looking for ones for little children also and he recommended another store that he knew would meet this need. Suffice it to say, the owner and staff were friendly, accommodating and very well informed. The owner is actually the miner.
Great service and the best store in Coober Pedy, very impressed at the stones and the quality as well as the service and knowledge, the store is run by the miners.
Judgmental about people who asks to see his stones. I understand that many will be a waste of time but there will be times when someone who is able to spend big will be turned away by his attitude and poor responses.
